PRACTITIONER TRAINING 

Cost for our Practitioner training course is $1795.00 (incl. GST) which includes; all required Practitioner Training course materials (syllabus, lesson plans, scripts, birthing folio);

Additional training materials such as online google dox or powerpoint presentations, are provided after certification requirements are met. You will be required to submit and pass assessment, and sign the Practitioner Agreement before becoming certified as a Positive Births NZ Practitioner and receiving full access.

PREREQUISITES

Hypnosis Training:

If you don’t already have a background in hypnosis training – you will need to complete the  ‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’ module. The cost for this module is $195 including GST.

 Childbirth Training:

If you are not midwife, student midwife (2nd year onwards), qualified doula, qualified childbirth educator, doctor or nurse (with childbirth training); then our ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ course is required. This module costs $195 (incl. GST) 

TO BOOK 

Complete the Practitioner Training Application Form and submit this with your deposit.

A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to hold your place at the course.

Should you be required to complete either of the pre-requisite modules – ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ or ‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’; you will receive a separate invoice for module payment on receipt of your course enrolment.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to course start date.

CERTIFICATION

Certification is granted after the successful completion of the training Course, signing of the Practitioner Agreement and Standards of Practice (which you will receive upon registration and needs to returned prior to training and dispatch of course materials) and upon successful completion of the Positive Birth Assessment requirements (assessment is due within 90 days of the final training date). A signed ‘Standards of Practice’ document and current ‘Practitioner Agreement’, indicates that the practitioner understands the philosophy of Positive Births and the Standards of Practice and agreement requirements and agrees to abide by them in the teaching of the Positive Birth program

Attendance at a Practitioner Certification class does not equate to automatic certification.

IMPORTANT

Please note that this course is only available to those who intend to teach the Positive Birth program. The training and course materials are not to be incorporated into any other program or used to create alternative programs. This is a very strict term and condition for enrolment.

PRACTICE

Only practitioners holding current certification may teach the Positive Birth programs and use any of the program materials.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The course deposit is non-refundable. Refunds for the residual amount of the course will be granted up to 30 days prior to the start date of the workshop or the enrollee may choose to assign the tuition fee to a future course with the same instructor, forfeiting right to refunds at the selected future course. No refunds or transfers will be granted following that date. Should the event be cancelled by Positive Births, a full refund is applicable, less any materials/self-study modules already received by the delegate. The event organiser reserves the right to make alternative venue arrangements should the need arise, which may include running the course via live online webinar series course format.

By agreeing to the Course Registration Terms  and  Conditions,  you  acknowledge  that  you  are  either enrolling  in  a Positive Births  course  of  your  own  free  will  and /or a Hypnotherapy with Helen course  with  the  understanding  that  this  is  a  program  designed  to  teach  you  to  use  your  own  natural  abilities  to  bring  your  mind and  my  body  into  a  state  of  relaxation.

1. If choosing a Positive Births course: You  understand  that  the  content  of  these  classes  is  in  no  way  intended  to  be  represented  as  medical  advice  nor  as  a  prescription  for  medical  procedure.  Positive  Births  advises  that  you  seek  the  advice  of  a  health-care  provider  to  answer  any  health-related  or  pregnancy-related  issues  surrounding  your  pregnancy,  labour  or  birth.

You  therefore  agree  that  you  will  in  no  way  hold  an  instructor  of  the   classes,  Positive  Births,  or  it’s  owner,  or  its  representatives  responsible  for  any  complications  that  could  arise  as  a  result  of  your  pregnancy,  your  labour,  or  the  birth  of  your  child.  You  agree  that  neither  yourself,  nor  any  member  of  your  family  will  make  any  claim  or  initiate  any  suit  against  Helen  Bartrom  or  Positive  Births,  now  or  at  any  time  in  the  future.

2. If choosing a Hypnotherapy with Helen course: you agree to allow yourself to experience self – hypnosis within the course as guided by Helen. You  agree that Helen shall not be held responsible or liable in any way, for any unforeseen outcome(s) from this, or any subsequent hypnosis sessions that Helen conducts with me. You understand that there are no guarantees relating to the outcome(s) of this, or any subsequent hypnosis session. You fully understand that Helen strongly advises that any alterations of my prescribed medical treatment be made with the supervision of medical professionals and that the processes she provides are complementary to and not a replacement for medical supervision and treatment.
