The Positive Postpartum Class: Support for the Journey of Early Parenthood

Postpartum is a uniquely intense and transformative time—filled with new challenges, unexpected emotions, and moments where it can feel like you’re constantly being stretched to your limits. This short course is designed to make that journey feel a little more manageable, a little more supported, and more empowered.

In this workshop, you’ll gain:

  • Insightful Information – Learn what’s really happening in your brain during this season of change – it’s called Matrescence! Understanding the “why” behind your experiences helps you respond with more self-compassion and confidence. Gain a deeper understanding of your emotional state and discover how to work with what you’re feeling, rather than against it.
  • Effective Tools & Strategies – Discover practical methods to release stress, ease anxiety, and bring a greater sense of calm into your daily life as a parent.
  • Quick & Simple Techniques – Reset your energy, feel re-inspired, and access calm—fast. These techniques are made for real-life parenting, where time and headspace are often in short supply.

The Positive Postpartum Workshop is a 3-hour program split into two 90-minute sessions. One version of the course is designed for parents-to-be and another version is designed for those already with babies and/or young children.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Use simple self-hypnosis and relaxation tools,
  • Make the most of limited sleep,
  • Stay grounded and calm during tough moments,
  • Cultivate mindfulness and find your focus.

This is a fun, practical class where we blend inspiration, education, and hands-on tools you can use immediately—no matter how busy or tired you are. Whether you’re navigating newborn life or toddlerhood, this course is here to help you feel more centered, more capable, and more you.

Included in the workshop:   handouts and 6 audio tracks to use to help you make the most of the practical techniques.

 

** Please note it is not necessary to have any experience with self-hypnosis, relaxation or meditation in order to join and benefit from the  class. All you need is the desire to be relaxed.

There are two different workshops designed for all types of mothers :
– a workshop for parents expecting their first baby and

– a workshop more relevant for parents of baby and / or other children. 

Your investment is usually $99 but these workshops are kindly funded by The Village and The Wright Family Foundation

How is self-hypnosis beneficial for new parents?

Mindfulness : how to appreciate the moment, see light within the tunnel and work with/ accept / be with whatever is thrown at you.

I honestly don’t know how to thank you enough for putting on this course. I cant put into words how much you have done for my family and I.

Its been 3 weeks since I did the course and every day I have laughed more, smiled more and I have honestly enjoyed every moment of being a mum. Having had pretty severe post natal depression and anxiety for the last 2 years, this class could not have come at a more perfect time (ok so maybe 2 years ago would have been better), but I was ready to make change.

Who is this class for?

Parents-to-be Learn how to better cope with your ever changing and evolving journey. Designed for parents pregnant with their first baby, this is a safe space to join like minded parents to feel more confident and prepared in beginning your journey.

Parents with growing babies, toddlers and preschoolers: This version is designed to help mothers find balance and energy throughout the early years of motherhood and possibly preparing to extend the family. We provide practical tools (along with inspiration) that you can use when your buttons are being pushed, you’ve got no time for yourself and you’re being pulled in many directions. Many mums say it’s like this class allows them to hit the “reset” button.

Your investment
is $89 which includes $40 worth of relaxation/hypnosis tracks to keep, along with handouts and scripts. 


Classes run on Zoom, weeknights 730pm – 9pm
